Belt and Road Textile Conference is hosted by the China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) and organized by the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT TEX). It is the most authoritative and professional event in the textile and apparel sector, focusing on the industry’s international development and cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, both in China and globally.

The biennial conference has been held six times since the launch of the Belt and Road Initiative in 2013—in Beijing (2013), Shanghai (2015), Nanjing (2017), Shengze, Jiangsu Province (2019), Huzhou, Zhejiang Province (2021), and Keqiao, Zhejiang Province (2023), which are all located in China. It has brought together participants from over 30 countries and regions to China for dialogue and collaboration.

In 2025, the 7th Belt and Road Textile Conference will be held outside of China for the first time, taking place in Singapore alongside APTEXPO.

Marking the 35th anniversary of China-Singapore diplomatic relations and leveraging Singapore’s unique position as a bridge between East and West as well as its core strategic location in Southeast Asia, the event will become the first overseas edition of Belt and Road Textile Conference.

The event is expected to attract hundreds of senior government officials, business leaders, association heads, industry experts, and corporate executives from China and Belt and Road partner countries, gathering in Singapore to open a new chapter in textile and apparel industry cooperation along the “Belt and Road”.
